Haoru hosted an alumni-company delegation for a demonstration of UWB following technology and discussion of positioning and mobile-platform applications.
On the afternoon of November 21, Dalian Haoru Technology Co., Ltd. welcomed an alumni-company delegation. Representatives from different industries toured the company with its management team and learned about its work in UWB following and high-precision real-time positioning.
Demonstrating a UWB Following Robot
The team demonstrated its internally developed UWB following vehicle. The founders explained how positioning anchors, wearable tags, PDoA angle measurement and vehicle control work together, followed by a live following demonstration.
During walking, turns and stops, the demonstration showed positioning, omnidirectional tracking, obstacle bypass and separation control in the test environment. UWB does not depend on lighting, while radio obstruction and interference remain deployment factors to evaluate. Visitors saw how the technology can support hands-free transport.
Haoru introduced its product range of more than twenty positioning anchors, asset tags, wearables and following devices. Applications include universities, factories, mines, logistics parks, hospitals, tourism and care-related transport, with suitability assessed for each deployment.
Cross-Industry Discussion and Technical Cooperation
Sun Hao described the company's development since its establishment in 2019, emphasizing practical engineering and applications. The team develops UWB following modules and vehicle solutions that customers can integrate and further develop where supported.
The visitors discussed professional development, industrial needs, hardware integration costs and collaboration. Haoru described potential cooperation in manufacturing, medical logistics, tourism and education, providing positioning and following capabilities as an integration layer for partner projects.
