Haoru joined an equipment-manufacturing and yacht-industry exchange in Dalian, presenting UWB technology and discussing potential integration applications.
A High-End Equipment Manufacturing and Yacht Supply-Chain Exchange was held at Dalian Oriental Building. Guided by Dalian's industry and information-technology bureau and the Puwan administrative committee, the event brought together industrial companies, financial institutions and service organizations, including shipbuilding, marine-development, investment and banking groups.
Â
Haoru participated as a UWB positioning and following developer, discussing equipment digitization and yacht/ship applications. Conversations covered UWB/edge-AI spatial sensing, personnel safety, asset management and following platforms.
Â
Two Major Projects Create Supply-Chain Opportunities
Â
The meeting introduced two investment projects connected with Dalian's equipment-industry development:
Â
The Tanhai yacht project, with a stated RMB 15 billion investment, supports marine manufacturing and tourism and is in progress.
The Inovance project, with a stated RMB 2 billion investment, is under construction and targets RMB 5 billion annual output when operational, focusing on permanent-magnet direct-drive systems and industrial automation products.
Â
The projects offer opportunities for local supply, joint application work and technical services. The event also covered project progress, marine tourism, yacht manufacturing, cruise-industry development, supplier entry, support policies and financing.
Â
UWB and AI for Equipment Manufacturing
Â
Shipbuilding and marine-equipment sites feature large areas, metal structures, obstructions and dense personnel/equipment activity. Haoru discussed its UWB/EdgeAI direction for these operating conditions:
Â
Personnel positioning and zone management in metal-rich shipyards, with CIR-based adaptation and NLOS bias handling as part of the proposed approach.
Tracking large components, welding equipment, fixtures and AGVs to support search and dispatch.
Recording where people and equipment are, dwell times and movement patterns to support production analysis.
Following platforms for material transport, tools and inspection, combining angle processing, sensor fusion and vehicle motion control.
Â
The stated objective is to improve the performance of an existing positioning installation in its real operating environment.
Â
Spatial Sensing for Yacht and Ship Applications
Â
Haoru also discussed potential UWB/AI applications around yacht and high-technology ship development:
Â
Personnel safety and asset tracking at shipyards and docks
Presence and small-motion sensing inside cabins, with camera-free sensing options
Following platforms and spatial interfaces for docks, parks and tourism
Flexible positioning and assembly assistance in vessel production
Â
These capabilities may complement yacht manufacturing and marine-tourism projects with application-level spatial data.
Â
Local Collaboration Through Alumni Networks
Â
The exchange connected project, finance and technical participants. As a Dalian company developing modules, anchors, tags, following kits and systems, Haoru can respond locally to industrial integration needs.
Â
The event established contacts with industrial companies, financial institutions and service platforms for continued technical and application discussions.
