Project requirements

Parents may need to handle belongings, phone calls or another child while moving a stroller. Single-handed pushing can be difficult, and public spaces introduce separation, rolling and collision risks. The application therefore needs stroller-specific controls and validation.

Solution

The described concept integrates UWB PDoA/AoA, drive, control and obstacle sensing into the chassis. A carried tag supplies relative position for 360Β° direction selection and an adjustable 1–15m separation. The proposal includes stopping at steps or abnormal conditions and optional remote control. Availability and suitability for a child-carrying product must be assessed separately.

EfficiencyThe case text reports approximately 80% fewer single-handed pushing situations and 30% less preparation/packing time in its described evaluation.

User ExperienceIt reports approximately 65% less pushing effort and following stability above 95%, with smoother turning and speed changes. These are source-case figures requiring confirmation.

SafetyThe case reports no rolling events and obstacle response below 0.3 seconds during its evaluation, with parking when the parent moves away. These figures do not establish stroller-level safety acceptance.
