Overview
Product overview
A UWB following subsystem for your mobile platform
This kit combines a carried tag, vehicle-mounted UWB sensing and the selected control and drive components to add following to a compatible robot or cart. Choose the delivery scope around the parts your platform already has: raw range-and-angle measurements, an integrated following controller, or a fuller control-and-drive assembly.
Components and integration boundaries
The referenced follow_auto03 guide shows front and rear PDoA anchors connected to the following controller, with a wristband or remote-control tag and matching motor-drive equipment. Obstacle sensors, power components and mechanical parts depend on configuration. Confirm the supplied revision and wiring diagram before connecting a different motor driver or battery.
UWB reports the target's relative position; obstacle sensing and vehicle control handle different tasks. A following kit is not a promise of autonomous navigation in every environment. The referenced installation guide also states that its remote-control mode has no obstacle avoidance. Verify the supported behavior for each mode on the actual delivered controller.
What to specify when requesting a kit
Provide the chassis dimensions, payload, wheel arrangement, motor/driver type, power supply, desired following distance and speed, sensor mounting positions and operating environment. Describe what should happen when the target is lost or the path is blocked. Evaluate starting, turning, stopping and recovery at controlled speed before testing the intended payload.
Read the complete component and commissioning guide and tool-cart application overview. The installation manual is listed below; for module-level data integration, see ULM3-PDOA.

FAQ
FAQ
Can a following kit be used to build a mobile livestreaming cart?
Yes. Modify the upper tray of a vehicle, or integrate a following kit into a purpose-built livestreaming chassis.
Can I build my own wheels and chassis for a following kit?
Yes. The following kit supports integration into your own chassis. Contact the team to discuss the drive configuration.
Does a motor/drive package include the following firmware?
A drive-only package does not include the following program. It must be used with a following kit.
How can a quadruped robot integrate following?
A ROS2 driver is provided for the supported following kit.
Can the following kit be used with a quadruped or embodied robot?
Yes. It can be integrated into quadruped and embodied-robot platforms.
Can a following kit be integrated into a wheelchair?
Theoretically, integration is possible if space is available for the electronics. A wheelchair application requires its own vehicle-level engineering and acceptance.
