Specify whether you need distance measurements, area coordinates or relative range and direction; then provide the operating area, tag count, per-tag update requirement, accuracy definition, host interface and installation constraints. HR-RTLS1 supports the documented TWR development path, while HR-RTLS4 documents a networked TDoA system. PDoA following applications have different hardware and control requirements. Identify any legacy RTLS2 or RTLS3 equipment by its hardware and firmware version before requesting compatibility or source-code access. Ask for a delivery list covering the actual modules, software, manuals and licence scope.
